- yverkehrsplanung GmbH
has developed a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure. The project aims to compensate for the currently inadequate data situation for stationary vehicle traffic. Consequently, the overarching strategic goal is the implementation of a projection method for key performance indicators (KPIs) of stationary vehicle traffic that can be transferred throughout Austria.
Work steps
The following steps were implemented:
- Creation of a knowledge base for stationary traffic in the area of supply and demand
- Creation of a data platform for stationary vehicle traffic
- Development, validation and calibration of suitable extrapolation methods for parking space supply and
demand - Derivation of recommendations for action and creation of an implementation plan
