Task
Kommunale Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH Erfurt is developing a residential area in the north-east of the state capital. The planning of this location was accompanied by yverkehrsplanung GmbH with the development of a mobility concept.
Work steps
The following steps were implemented:
- Environment analysis,
- Determination of parking space utilization and accessibility of stops,
- Development of a concept for bicycle parking,
- Determination and location of the required number of parking spaces,
- Determination of a mobility budget,
- Development of mobility management measures (car sharing, cargo bikes, information displays, repair facilities, etc.)
The guidelines for determining the number of parking spaces in the city of Erfurt had to be taken into account when implementing the work steps.
Results
The implementation of mobility management measures in conjunction with the integrated location creates the basis for sustainable mobility.
