Task
jenawohnen GmbH is planning the construction of new residential units in the area of Theobald-Renner-Straße in Lobeda-West in the western part of Jena.
This project requires the development of a mobility concept.
Work steps
The following steps were implemented:
- Recording the existing supply of parking spaces,
- Recording of existing demand,
- Determination of the required number of parking spaces for bicycles and cars using different methods,
- Support for project planning with regard to the creation of mobility services
- Public participation.
Results
The result is a mobility concept that covers all modes of transport and also shows the influence of car sharing and e-mobility.
The integrated location creates the basis for sustainable mobility.
