People who use bicycles or walk are sensitive to detours. Our planning therefore focuses on sufficient network density, the connectivity of neighbourhoods and the creation of high-quality connections to other modes of transport (stops, mobility hubs).

Safe and accessible

It is essential that transport infrastructure, particularly at junctions, is designed to be safe for traffic. We take into account the needs of people with limited mobility and design barrier-free transport infrastructure or, where this is not possible, infrastructure with minimal barriers.

The basis of all transport planning is knowledge of road user behaviour. Mobility surveys are therefore the first step in any planning process. We examine mobility behaviour, evaluate cause-and-effect relationships and thus put planning on a solid footing.
